Our client, a highly regarded and fast-growing litigation and advisory law firm based in Sydney, is seeking a seasoned Employment Lawyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team during a significant growth phase and make a real impact on complex, high-profile matters across a broad range of industries.
This position is open to Special Counsel or Partner level who are looking to join a firm with an exceptional reputation for delivering outstanding client outcomes in the areas of employment, commercial, and defamation law.
About the Role:
As part of a close-knit, high-performing team, you will take the lead on a variety of employment law matters, including litigation, advisory work, and strategic projects. You’ll work closely with clients and senior leadership, manage your own matters with autonomy, and have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Act as the key point of contact on your matters, providing strategic advice to clients across a range of industries.
- Autonomy & Practice Growth: Take ownership of your workload and contribute to practice development, including mentoring and leadership activities.
- Litigation & Advisory: Handle a broad spectrum of employment law matters including disputes, compliance, and workplace strategy.
- Team Collaboration: Work in partnership with colleagues and leadership on high-stakes, complex legal matters while providing mentorship and supervision of other staff.
- Client Exposure & Autonomy: Early access to clients and the opportunity to run your own matters with independence.
